The Amazons are a brave female-only tribe living in the wilderness, deep in the Turkish forest. They are currently led by young queen Hippolyta. She inherited this title from her mother when she died.
History
Dante Vale said that if the legends are historically accurate, Greek legends of the civilization of Amazon women originated from Turkey. When Metz found the Ring of Behemoth, he hid it in the Amazon village in possession of his lover, the current queen. The ring was later given to Hippolyta before Dante's team recovered it.
Description
The Amazon women are no damsels in distress. They can stand their ground and fight bravely when attacked. They are rather suspicious when it comes to strangers and don't let them pass their borders. They seem to be rough and no-nonsense at first sight, but they can be very kind, such as when they take care of their guests. However, they don't trust men easily and even when convinced that they are friendly, they act cautious. The Amazons know about Seekers and show a great respect for them. They are very devoted to their home village, customs and rituals and won't let anyone break them, even if they would pay with their lives for this. Everyone who won't show respect for their rituals has to be punished. They worship Forest Queen Diana as their deity. Honour, strength and courage are the most valued traits in the tribe.
