Common grammatical mistakes
With the experience of a decade in online administration, including 8 years with Wikia Fandom, I have come to the conclusion that most people know very little about English grammar. In fact, a lot of points that are grammatically correct will be undone by new editors. Now, I really can't blame these users since no one really bothers with grammar when speaking (and since newspaper authors are bad role models for grammar). With all of this in mind, I've come up with a short guide to common grammatical errors that pop up on wikis.

We use paragraphs to divide a document into simpler ideas and to avoid what has come to be known as "wall text." While dividing a work into paragraphs may …
Season 1 Collection
My complete Season 1 DVD collection arrived today. Included are 4 "journals" (volumes) with 2 discs each. At roughly $40 including shipping, that's only about $1.50 per episode, which is quite the deal considering the additional bonus features.
- 1 Journal 1: Golem of Prague
- 2 Journal 2: Legacy of the Argonauts
- 3 Journal 3: Trust and the Traitor
- 4 Journal 4: The Professor Revealed
- Episodes 1 - 7
- The words Invocation, Seekers, and Titans are capitalized
- Episodes 8 - 13
- The island is spelled Medea Island instead of Madea Island on the cover
- Both the island and Titan are spelled Madea in the captions

- Episode 14
- Definitively no mention of the name "Azaram" (nothing in extras either)

Guide to writing articles
Hey all. I thought I'd get out a few tips on the various components of writing articles. Some of these aspects will touch on things on our Manual of Style, but others are just general suggestions.
- 1 Where to Start
- 2 Sections
- 3 Style
- 4 Spelling and Grammar
- 5 Paragraphing
Writing an article can seem like a daunting task, especially if you're starting from scratch. Sometimes the easiest thing may be to start with the overview / description; other times it may be easier to start with some of the history details. When in doubt, start with what you know. One of the easiest things may be to fill in the Infobox data and then work from there.
Different types of articles (location, episode, Seeker, Character, spell, artifact, etc.) have a slightly different lay…
Image Editing
Hey all, Lhikan634 here. I've been at image editing for about 6 to 7 years now. I'm most well-known for my edited LCD images which appear on what was then the foremost Digimon Digidex website, the DMA (Digital Monsters Almanac, formerly the Digimon Master Alliance). I've also done a bit of computer-assisted drawing, taking a hand-drawn image and then digitally modifying and coloring it.
Back when I first started working with computerized images for the DMA, I was very unskilled. My edited art back then consisted of not much more than color alterations of very simple LCD images. I then began working on slightly more complex LCD images where I'd be adding small stuff such as claws or spikes. A lot of my first batch were horrendous to be hones…

Policy Forum
Hey fellow-Seekers! I've been looking around and comparing our policy pages to those of other Wikis. For the most part, the general "wiki" guidelines are around, but I've noticed there are full policies we either do not have written up or that aren't linked to by anything. Though the word "policy" can sound a bit restricting at times, one of the things it helps with is telling editors some of the general workings of the Huntik Wiki.
If at all possible, I'd love for us to have a fairly comprehensive policy set yet not have everything constrained to one impossible-to-read document. I'll put forth a few questions and ideas below, but I really want to hear from the rest of the Huntik Wiki community. Feel free to respond to stuff selectively. I'…
Verifying Information
Comments that have been handled already will also have the following template added as well as what information could be gleaned.
TCG
The TCG namespace has been added to the Huntik Wiki by Wikia staff, so TCG-related articles are being transitioned over to the new namespace. The original pages will remain as redirects. The following sections will be updated as smoothly as is possible.
