Den befriends a Native American Seeker and is given a new Titan, Kaioh the Tracker. Wilder makes his return and captures the Huntik team as they explore the Vault of Cortés. Things look grim, but Dante saves everyone by bonding with the Legendary Titan of Dimensions, Umbra - the Shadow Jaguar.
Synopsis[]
With Dante away in China, Lok leads his first mission, to capture the wild Titan, Antedeluvian at the Castle of Vlad Dracul. However, it might also be his last when Tantras and an empowered Harrison turn up.
Plot[]
- Dante's Trip to China
Dante arrives at a waterfall in the Taihang Mountains where he is attacked by a knife-throwing female. The two fight and are evenly matched, and it is revealed that the Seeker is Lin Storm, an old friend of Dante's. Dante has come to see her grandfather and follows her to him.
- Lok's in Charge
At Dante Vale's house, Lok has been left in charge as Sophie tries to tutor Den who insists of splashing her with water. Metz calls with a mission to help secure the wild Titan, Antedeluvian at the Castle of Vlad Dracul. Outside the castle, the Foundation agents stationed there are ambushed by the Blood Spiral who swiftly knock them out. Tantras leads Harrison Fears and Zhalia Moon to the Throne room where he plans to use the power of the Heart of Vlad Dracul to activate the Spiral Mark.
- Dante Prepares for his Fate
Dante is reunited with Master Storm, who trained him in his youth. The Master senses he is deeply troubled, and Dante reveals that it is his fate, shown to him by Arc, of his friends mourning his death. To meet his fate head-on, Dante and Caliban embark on an intense training session. As he rests, Lin encourages Dante to open up to her but his mind is on someone else - Zhalia...
- Unwelcome Guests
The Huntik team arrive at the castle where they are immediately attacked by Harrison who has grown significantly more powerful. Invoking Hitokiri, he keeps the team pinned down as Lok struggles to work out how to get past him. Sophie fights Zhalia, who warns Sophie that the they must hurry. Stepping to his responsibility, Lok invokes Lindorm who helps clear the path while Sabriel defeats Hitokiri. Harrison is angered as the team quickly get inside the castle.
Master Storm teaches Dante his strongest power, Copykind, which allows a Seeker to borrow their Titans' abilities. They are interrupted by a call from Metz who is worried about the team. Determined to get to the castle, Dante invokes Umbra and plans to use Copykind, to borrow Umbra's ability and teleport himself there.
- Facing Antedeluvian
The team burst in on Tantras who in the middle of his ritual, with only two Marauders at his side. To outnumber them, Den summons Kaioh the Tracker but before they can storm him, Harrison and Zhalia burst through the window. Harrison has a big surprise up his sleeve; he has powerbonded with Antedeluvian! As the team attack, Antedeluvian picks off their Titans, taking their powers and using them against the team. Sophie invokes Sorcerel, who together with Sabriel, creates the Triple Truth Shield, but this is quickly jeopardised by Harrison's Drybite, defeating Sabriel. With Tantras on the brink of succeeding, Lok tries to summon Pendragon with the Willblade, but fails and is knocked to the floor by Zhalia.
- Turning the Tide
Having arrived at the castle, Dante enters the Throne room with Ignatius. Using Copykind, he creates a fire around Tantras, distracting him and disrupting the ritual. Dante and Ignatius hit Antedeluvian from both sides, defeating him while everyone watches in shock as Tantras' power is drained by Dracul's Heart. The Blood Spiral flee while the Huntik team watch the Heart disappear back into the floor. Back at Dante's house, Lok feels he should have handled being team leader better but the others all agree he did a great job. Lok says Dante will forever be their leader, but Dante looks unsure. He quickly invites everyone to the courtyard to see his new moves, to which Den decided to have another water fight, soaking Sophie.
