Hernán Cortés was a Spanish conquistador and a powerful Seeker who conquered the Aztecs. During his travels he came into possession of the Legendary Titan of Dimensions, Umbra the Shadow Jaguar, which he sealed away in a huge underwater vault.

Cortés was at the service of King Charles V of Spain under the directive to conquer land in the New World and to give power to the Spanish empire. Wikipedia
After long years of travels, he obtained the Ring of Umbra the Shadow Jaguar while in the Yucatan. When he died, he left it in a vault deep in the Sea of Cortés off the coast of Baja California, Mexico, along with the rest of his treasures. To guard it he left Conquistador, a large Titan adept at relentlessly watching over treasure. S2E42
Dante Vale was able to locate Cortés' vault with help from Galen who possesses an impressive collection of Cortés's old maps and records. Using Metagolem and Ignatius, he found the treasure protected by a force field and guarded by Conquistador. S2E41 The Huntik team returned to the vault with the Pied Pipe to charm Conquistador into letting them in, however they were ambushed by the Organization led by Wilder. After a turbulent battle, Dante obtained Umbra's ring but him and his team were trapped with Conquistador when Hoffman destroyed their exit. They escaped using Umbra's teleport ability. S2E42

Cortés established himself as an extremely powerful Seeker, conquering the civilization of the Aztecs. His relentless number of dangerous traps showed his ruthless abilities in defending his treasure, while his unbreakable forcefield proved impossible for Metagolem to break through.
