The second season of Huntik: Secrets & Seekers was first broadcast in Italy on September 17th, 2011 on Rai Due. It premiered in the UK on April 16th, 2012 on the CITV network. It premiered in the US on Nicktoons on April 21st, 2013. This season follows Lok's quest to decipher the quatrains of Nostradamus and prevent the end of the world, as Sophie uncovers the truth about the Casterwill family as she fights to lead them against a dangerous new enemy, the Blood Spiral.

The American company Viacom became a co-owner of Rainbow S.p.A. ahead of the second season's premiere in 2011. It premiered on September 17, 2011, on Rai 2 in Italy, on April 16, 2012, on CITV in the UK, and April 21, 2013, on Nicktoons in the US. The final episode aired in Italy on December 11, 2011, in the UK on May 30, 2012. Broadcasting in the US ended on June 30, 2013, with Episodes 38 to 52 not being released in the US until the Huntik aired on Netflix on October 15th, 2015.
The second season saw some changes to the voice cast. Matt Caplan (credited as Drew Aaron) took over the role of Lok Lambert from Yuri Lowenthal while Marc Diraison took over the role of Rassimov following the passing of Maddie Blaustein.
Plot[]
With the defeat of the Professor, a new menace has arrived. Rassimov has become stronger, and a new Organization has formed under Wilder. Having trained since their last battle with the Professor, Lok Lambert, Dante Vale, Sophie Casterwill, and Zhalia Moon must now face this new menace. To help with their adventures, a new Seeker, Den Fears, is recruited to face off against the Blood Spiral Brotherhood. In addition to this new member, the power of Powerbonding has been unleashed.
Having discovered Eathon Lambert's Holotome, the Huntik Foundation begins to investigate the Holotome's riddles concerning the prophecies of the ancient Seeker, Nostradamus. The truth about the Casterwill family becomes revealed bit by bit, beginning with the discovery of a legendary sword, the Willblade.
