This trap is a stone carving of King Basilisk located in Basilisk House that was left with its face covered by a curtain. Pulling back the curtain and looking into the carving's eyes unleashes a purple energy that petrifies its victim. This trap was used to guard the resting place of King Basilisk.
History[]
This trap was disarmed by Lok Lambert by using a mirror to reflect the petrifying energy back on the trap, thus destroying it. Doing so revealed a secret room behind the carving containing a statue of King Basilisk with its Amulet resting inside. S1E09
