Sutos island is the place where Grier was born and his father, Zan-Sutos, was the king.
History
After Grier's father was killed in battle, Grier went into exile and joined the Organization. One of his prime goals was to gain the ability to bring order to Sutos. Grier brought his personal Organization army to Sutos to bring it under Organization control. However, this was more of a move to bring order and peace to the people after years of battles between local warlords for power. Grier is now the ruler of Sutos. source?
