Template:Infobox titansTao is The Titan of Spirit, he is a tall ghostly being, floating on top of a cloud of energy. With blue, liquid like skin, a golden jewel across his forehead, and a gown around his waist grants the Titan a human like appearance. This Titan was found in Egypt and originally controlled by Lok Lambert. Firing bolts of energy allowed this Titan to destroy multiple enemies with ease. After taking advantage of Dante's need to save Metz, Tao went under the ownership of the Professor. He then used it to battle Dante's team and summon the most powerful Titan, Overlos. Once Lok gained control of Overlos, he ordered it to return to the Spirit World along with the three Legendary Titans.
History
Along with Araknos and Behemoth, Tao was one of the three titans utilized by Casterwill back when the titans were first summoned to Earth. Before Casterwill died, he sealed Tao's ring within King Solomon's mines using an ancient curse that affects anyone who tried to invoke the titan without the Amulet of Will.
Tao was the only legendary titan that remained untouched by seekers after Casterwill sealed it (Araknos being disturbed by Simon Judeau and Behemoth by Metz) and was first shown in a portrait of Casterwill in Atlantis. Lok became the one who woke Tao from its rest and called it in To Be Together to fight the organization and after the events in Divine Comedy, the Professor gained control of Tao.
Using Tao and the other legendary Titans, the Professor summoned the Legendary Titan of Immortality, Overlos, however due to interference from Dante's team, Lok ordered Overlos to return to the spirit world and take the legendary titans with him. Tao along with Araknos, Behemoth and The Professor now reside within the Spirit World.
Abilities
This Titan is constantly floating on a cloud, which grants it permanent levitation. Offensively Tao is very powerful because he can manipulate energy to destroy several Titans at once. Tao is the Legendary Titan of Spirit. With his powerful energy attacks and unmatched knowledge of all Titan abilities, he is able to execute perfect strategies in battle.
