Teien Casterwill is one of the Elders of the Casterwill family, over the House of Strategists, and served as the intermediary between the Huntik Foundation Council and the Casterwill family. Unlike most members of the Casterwill family, Teien is of Japanese descent.
History[]
Teien Casterwill was the Elder of the House of Strategists within the Casterwill family. S2E39 At some point, she established contact with the Huntik Foundation and served as a member of the Huntik Foundation Council for some time, during which time she wore a mask in order to disguise her identity. S1E21
When Focauld Casterwill contacted Teien about a Blood Spiral attack on him, she formally unmasked and introduced herself to the Council members as a liaison for the Casterwill family. Metz was the only one who was already aware of her true identity. S2E37
Teien later asked Sophie Casterwill and the Huntik team to activate the Blue Star and call the scattered family members out of hiding. She also gifted Sophie with her Enfluxion Amulet. S2E38
At the Casterwill meeting Fortress of Iron Will, Teien supported Sophie in her bid to organize a strike against the Blood Spiral. S2E39 Teien later fought against the Spiral army and defended the Fortress. S2E40
During the final battle against the Betrayer and his Blood Spirals, Teien fought from one of the Scramjets and redirected several attacks at the Silent Soldiers and Bazela's Insect fliers. S2E51 S2E52
Personality[]
Teien seems to be very calm, serene and elevated. Her appearance is very elegant, she also enjoys traditional Japanese rituals, such as preparing tea. However, she can stand her ground in battle. She waits for the best moment to strike, revealing her patience. Though she is does everything to protect the Casterwills' safety, she is also honourable and knows that it's her family's duty to fight evil. She is an expert tactician, as she is the Elder of the Casterwill House of Strategists. She is respectful to everyone as evidenced by her respectful treatment of Sophie and Lok.
Abilities[]
Teien Casterwill is a brilliant strategist and knows useful powers which help her destroy enemies on her own without the need for backup. Teien can use Oathmaker, a spell that permits the Seeker to force an enemy to tell the truth. Unlike other spells like Simplemind, this spell works on other Seekers such as the Silent Soldiers of the Blood Spiral.
